Organisations based in the EU, the EEA or Switzerland (government.nl) can apply for assistance in recruiting staff in the Netherlands. This assistance is provided by UWV, through EURES.

You can apply for assistance by contacting the EURES organisation in your country (europa.eu/eures). Your local EURES advisor will then contact a EURES advisor in the Netherlands, who will explore opportunities for assisting your organisation.

Organisations based outside the EU, the EEA or Switzerland do not qualify for assistance via EURES in recruiting staff in the Netherlands.

There are two reasons for this:

• UWV has no employment services network in your country.
• UWV has insufficient knowledge of labour market regulations in your country.
